| Today marks the fourth week of camp. We have a church coming all the way from Cali this week. I'm excited. The past 3 weeks have been incredible. My groups and I have built three wheelchair ramps for folks. I've really been challenged by the sites and by some of my students, but overall I'm loving it.

| School is finally over. These past two days have been pretty great. I got to sleep until noon. My last test was on Thursday. I've begun packing up my room, and getting ready to head to camp. I know I still have 2 weeks, but next week I'm going to be pleasantly disposed. Laura's coming into town, actually she's flying into Little Rock, she's going to meet Scott and Linda. It shoud be exciting hanging out in the Bluff, because there is tons to do (haha....ha...ha..h) | | |
| Oh, how I love Christ. I thank God for sending Jesus to pay the ultimate price.
Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted. As many were astonished at you--his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind-- so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand. Who has believed what they heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces[ he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; he will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see[i] and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 52:13 – Isaiah 53 ESV

| Let me just say....these past two weeks have been cr-azy. Everything in all my classes has been due within a five day period. Paper, after paper, after project, after paper, but I've got to congradulate myself on being responsible about it. I got my paper for Bible as Lit. done on Saturday night, yeah, I did homework this Saturday night that's just how serious it is. The paper's not due until Wednesday. I've also procrastinated on a couple of thing too though. Today starts the last week of the semester before finals, then the glorious summer starts.
This summer I'm going to be working M-Fuge again, but I'm going to be in Mobile, AL. I can't wait. Everything that I've heard about the camp has been awesome.
Well, I've got to go present a project that I did for last Friday, so I should start figuring out what I'm going to say. Peace. | | |
| Well, the snow is melting and the earth has turn into a huge pile of mud. I love the cold weather. I recently wrote a story, not a news story but a story, about my experience this summer, and the impact it had on my life and the wonderful gift that I ended up with at the end. It was great remembering all the little things from the summer, even though Laura and I talk about it at least once a month. The whole summer was precious. My first story ran on NPR last weekend. It ran on Friday and Sunday. It's pretty great. I've been on TV reading the news. I've been on the radio reading the news, but it's still not like hearing yourself on NPR. I put a lot of work into it. My story about the guy who eats fire is pretty much done. I just have to lay down my voice tracks.
